Hopefully everyone has exercised their rights as citizens and cast their votes in this week’s primary. Let’s take a look at the candidates from the perspective of this year’s theme and see what they were up to during the 70’s.
Barack Hussein Obama (born August 4, 1961)
1970 - Attends local schools in Jakarta, Indonesia

John Sidney McCain III (born August 29, 1936)
1973 - Released from “Hanoi Hilton” in N. Vietnam after 5 1/2 years
1974 - Recuperates and has his flight status reinstated as a Navy pilot
1977 - Returns to DC to become the Navy’s liaison to the U.S. Senate
Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton (born October 26, 1947)
1971 - Begins dating Bill Clinton, a fellow student at Yale Law School
1974 - Member of the impeachment inquiry staff during Watergate
1979 - First woman to be made a full partner of Rose Law Firm
Willard Mitt Romney (born March 12, 1947)
1971 - Graduates valedictorian from Brigham Young University
1975 - Graduates from Harvard Law School and Business School
1978 - Becomes vice president of Bain & Company, Inc.
