A new Staff Photos Page has been added to the Alumni Section to compliment the Class Photos Page. We realize this photo below is actually from the 60’s but we were unable to locate the 1969-70 staff photo which would also include Rita Abrams. If you have the 1969-70 staff photo or photos from any of the other missing years please contact Michael (michael.dk @ comcast.net) for inclusion on this blog. We’ll be very grateful. Thanks!

Thanks to Strawberry parent and alumnus, Janet Fay Conner, I have made corrections to the years on the Graduating class postings. Apparently, the years noted on the placards denote the fall year and not the spring year (Note to self: October is in the fall). See if you can spot Janet in the Class of 1971-72 photo.

Mr. Rojas 5th grade class from 1974-75. It’s funny how the boy in the yellow shirt (2nd row far left) is making sure that his arm cast is properly immortalized in this photo. Hey it worked!

Mr. Glenn’s 5th grade class from 1973-74. We’re in color now and you can see how vivid those 70’s outfits are. I love those big collars and bell-bottom pants. These photos have not be retouched. They will be color corrected for the final archive.

Mrs. Ekman is sporting a new hair style in this photo with her 6th grade class from 1971-72. I personally think it suits her better. This also may have been the last year Strawberry Point School had a 6th grade. The following year, the 6th grade was moved to Mill Valley Middle School.

Mrs. Ekman’s 6th grade class from 1970-71. If you recognize anyone in the photo or you are one of the students, please help us identify the students in the photo. Over the course of this week we’ll be adding the graduating class from each of the years from the 70’s. If there is enough interest we’d love to add all of the photos available to create a permanent Strawberry Point School archive. Please leave a comment and let us know what you think!
