Mrs. Ekman’s 6th grade class from 1970-71. If you recognize anyone in the photo or you are one of the students, please help us identify the students in the photo. Over the course of this week we’ll be adding the graduating class from each of the years from the 70’s. If there is enough interest we’d love to add all of the photos available to create a permanent Strawberry Point School archive. Please leave a comment and let us know what you think!

I recognize many of the students in this photo as it is the same class as mine. I was in the Kline/Ponzio class that year. Top row of girls is Maddy O’Brien, Gail Brady, 3 I can’t remember, Tami Willat, another I don’t remember, Cindy Skog (?). The row below contains Nicole Victor and Kathy Larsen.

Hi Celeste, I’ve scanned and posted the photos of the Kline/Ponzio class a.k.a. Wild Strawberries in the Alumni section under Super Strawberries. I’m hoping that you can shed some light on the origins of the Strawberries name and what it was like having all those students from different grades in the same classroom!
